Established in Lusaka in 2001, J&J Transport Zambia provides integrated transport, warehousing, and container depot services to customers across Zambia and the region.
Our facility on Linda Road, off Kafue Road, has grown through continued investment in infrastructure, technology, and people. It brings together a container depot, warehouses, an on-site workshop, fuel storage facilities, and paved truck parking, supported by 24-hour security and CCTV surveillance.
Our experienced team combines local knowledge with an extensive regional logistics network to keep cargo moving efficiently. With strong operational systems and support teams strategically positioned across Zambia, we work to minimise delays and achieve fast truck turnaround times for cargo originating in, destined for or transiting through the country.Safety and responsible operations are central to our business. Our integrated management system supports our commitment to internationally recognized safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) standards, including ISO 45001:2018. Our facility also holds DPS March security accreditation.
We are committed to meeting applicable legal requirements and upholding international anti-corruption principles through our Anti-Corruption Policy.
Ongoing training keeps our people’s skills current, with programs covering defensive driving, first aid, firefighting, and practical on-the-job development.

J&J Transport Zambia Limited manages transport services on the following routes, including quotations and tender submissions:-
Zambia–Mozambique: via Chirundu, Livingstone or Chanida. - Zambia–Zimbabwe: via Chirundu.
- Zambia–Tanzania: via Nakonde / Tunduma.
- Zambia–Namibia: via Sesheke / Katima Mulilo.
- Zambia–Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC): via Kasumbalesa, Mokambo or Sakania.

WAREHOUSING & CONTAINER DEPOT SERVICES OFFERED:
Our fully paved logistics facility covers approximately 11 hectares, providing secure space for cargo handling, storage, and container operations. Controlled access, 24-hour CCTV surveillance and dedicated security personnel help safeguard our customers’ cargo.
Our warehouse and depot management systems support electronic data interchange (EDI), enabling timely, accurate information sharing and visibility of cargo movements.
Our 35,000 m² container depot provides storage and handling for both full and empty containers. Equipped with a Kalmar reach stacker, the depot supports efficient container movements and a comprehensive range of services:

Oscar Gutierrez brings over 20 years of experience in shipping and logistics, including extensive expertise in cross-border transport across Latin America and Africa. He joined J&J Transport Zambia in February 2015 and has worked in Africa for more than 11 years.
With a hands-on leadership approach and a strong understanding of regional logistics, Oscar has helped shape J&J Zambia’s growth, building a team focused on operational excellence, reliable service and long-term customer relationships.
CUSTOMER SUPPORT & SALES ADMINISTRATOR - Basil Chongo
Basil Chongo brings expertise in customer service, sales support and import–export coordination to his role at J&J Transport Zambia. He supports customer acquisition and retention by providing responsive service and working closely with the sales and operations teams to meet customer needs.Basil coordinates customer instructions, manages documentation and proactively resolves issues to keep shipments moving efficiently. His attention to detail and commitment to clear communication help ensure customers receive reliable support throughout the logistics process.
